Published facts, with a date.

We research official venue websites, membership pages, timetables and operator information. Each venue guide links to the sources used and shows its check date.

A check date means we reviewed those sources on that date. It is not a guarantee that every detail is still current, and it does not mean we visited the venue.

We summarise the facts in our own words. Operator photographs are credited. A missing photograph is labelled; conceptual campaign imagery is not presented as a photograph of a listed gym.

Keep the important conditions attached.

• Ongoing and introductory prices: kept separate so a temporary offer does not look like the usual rate.
• Eligibility: student, guest, family and restricted-access plans are identified where published.
• Extra costs: joining fees, premium facilities and visit restrictions are included when the source states them.
• Unknown details: “Not confirmed” means the source did not establish the answer. It does not mean a facility is absent or a service is free.

Always read the operator’s current terms before paying. Checkout totals may depend on start date, eligibility or the plan you select.

A directory, not a league table.

We do not currently publish visitor star ratings, inspection scores or awards. The default directory order puts places with a published monthly price and operator photograph first, followed by those with a published price, then a photograph, then the remaining places. Ties are alphabetical. This reflects the information available, not the quality of a venue; payment does not affect the order. You can also choose alphabetical or price order. Suggested alternatives use location and published training options to help comparison.

Before accepting public reviews, we will publish the moderation rules, evidence standards, appeals process and how the summary rating is calculated. We will not import unattributed third-party scores or imply that email confirmation proves a visit.

Visibility can be paid for. Facts cannot.

There are currently no paid placements in the directory. Future sponsored listings and newsletter placements will be labelled beside the relevant content.

Factual profiles and corrections remain free. Payment will not buy an award, a better rating, the removal of criticism or a change to a factual comparison.

The source links let you check the evidence behind a guide. Operator information may change after our check date, especially prices, timetables and temporary offers.

Owner submissions and correction requests are not open yet. We will add a clear submission route once the review and publishing process is ready. Until then, the official venue website is the source for its latest published information.
